Dallas Raceway is a new 1/4 mile track in Crandall, Texas.
It was designed for drag racing and is an extremely nice track.
We went to a Test-N-Tune event on a Friday night. This was not a sanctioned race
event. It was actually a run what ya brung event and allowed a lot of the local
talent to prep their race cars and bikes for the weekend event. There were at
least 300 cars and around 30-40 bikes for the evening.
We took some pics behind the grandstands and had some great access to the
racers. If you notice, we've got some pictures of O'Shea Squalls and his Outlaw
GSXR. This is a 7 second race bike! It's actual displacement is somewhere in the
1400 cc mark with a hit of Nitrous! Incredibel attention to detail.
This is just a small glimpse into the world of drag racing. Komodo Gear will be
sharing a lot more on this subject in the near future. We're leaning a lot and
getting a lot of great feedback on our new "Outlaw" 2 piece drag race suit.
